These are some notes from day 2 (25th July) of the lovely train trip to Berlin and back that we made in July 2022, utilizing the generous 9 Euro ticket.
A very warm day in a lovely town. We only have day to spend so we limit ourselves to the old parts of Lübeck. In the evening we receive some refreshing rain.
These are the records from an intentionally complicated train trip to Berlin and back that we made in July 2022. It began on the 24th and ended on the 31st. We used the generous 9 Euro ticket for all travelling in Germany. If I remember correct, we used the cheap Arriva One Day ticket for the Danish travels.

Schedule 24/JULY/2022
That was a long journey! However, quite relaxing and so far we had no issues with over crowded trains although all trains in Germany were almost fully seated this day. There were some delays/reschedules between Nielbüll and Husum but nothing that really bothered us. Finally we arrived in Lübeck to a warm and beautiful evening. A short walk to Holstentor followed by a perfect Jever at the hotel (the niu Rig) closes the day. The hotel, which can be recommended, lies very close to the Bahnhof.
